The Parish Council is keen to ensure that Kinnerley Stores continues to provide its services to the local community and is in discussions with the developers of the shop and adjacent properties about parking and public safety. the Parish Council will be arranging to consult with residents on specific proposals regarding parking arrangements.

Freedom Fibre’s government contract has finished and is being replaced by a new company. The new provider will consider which homes will be included in the specification for the remainder of the contract. These will be hard-to-reach premises where commercial providers have no plans to install a connection but they may not be exactly the same premises as were included in Freedom Fibre’s contract.

The Parish Council is continuing to liaise with Shropshire Council to get clarity on the next steps and to continue to seek ways in which the mobile signal can be improved across the parish.
